Il progetto di “Pan y Pepinillos” si basa su un idea di “re-branding” di un locale già esistente nella zona Nord-Est di Madrid.
L’obiettivo del progetto era quello di ridare nuova vita ad un locale con un grande potenziale e visione.
Infatti l’intera struttura risultava spenta, senza riuscire a rappresentare al meglio lo spirito e la vitalità della città di Madrid.
Colore , vivacità e creatività sono le caratteristiche che caratterizzano la capitale spagnola e sono i tre valori su cui ho basato il concept di “Pan y Pepinillos Café”.
Il logo, come anche le decorazioni interne ed esterne del locale si ispirano a quelle del Crystal Palace Madrid (una struttura in metallo e cristallo, in stile vittoriano, che si trova nel Parque del Retiro e rappresenta uno dei migliori esempi dell’architettura del ferro a Madrid).
Lo stile grafico riprende i graffiti tipici del quartiere “Lavapiés” un vivace quartiere multiculturale che si estende lungo ripide stradine medievali.
The “Pan y Pepinillos” project is based on an idea of “re-branding” an existing venue in the north-east of Madrid.
The goal of the project was to give new life to a place with great potential and vision.
In fact, the whole structure was turned off, without being able to best represent the spirit and vitality of the city of Madrid.
Color , liveliness and creativity are the characteristics that characterize the Spanish capital and are the three values on which I based the concept of “Pan y Pepinillos Café”.
The logo, as well as the interior and exterior decorations of the restaurant are inspired by those of the Crystal Palace Madrid (a structure in metal and crystal, Victorian style, located in the Parque del Retiro and is one of the best examples of iron architecture in Madrid).
The graphic style takes up the graffiti typical of the “Lavapiés” district, a lively multicultural district that stretches along steep medieval streets.
